Worn out like a moldy old rag
The first day of my internship has left me with tired feet, an aching back, and the horrid aftertaste of humble pie. Times like these, I really miss Manila, my friends, and my family.
I could really use a drink, a hug, and a massage. All at the same time.

Cheer up, Kaits. If there’s anything I learned from inspirational movies like “The Devil Wears Prada” and “Legally Blonde”, any challenge can be surmounted with the right makeover montage.
On a more serious note though, hang in there. It can only get better.

I must say, it is getting better. Had my first OT tonight and it’s the first time I felt quite productive.

Oemgee, Deng. After my first day, I suddenly remembered everything you told me after your first day at the agency. Pero at least hindi ka pinapa-kolekta ng basura gabi-gabi! SHET! Super na shock ako nung sinabi ng isang babae na isa yun sa tasks namin. Pagkatapos ng 30 seconds of shock, nilunok ko nalang ang pride ko at nilabas ang basura with flair and flourish! Hahahaa! (Naka-Taglish itils kase baka mabasa nila. Hahaha)
Kaits nagulat din ako nung unang pinaglinis ako ng banyo sa trabaho hahaha! Buti na lang may step-by-step instructions, feel na feel ang pag mop! Hahaha!
